February 03, 2008: Lexus just placed the LF-A Convertible concept on thir stand at the 2008 NAIAS, without any fanfare, leading to much speculation that the production introduction is imminent. Much more was to do about the Toyota A-BAT concept and the Toyota Venza Crossover SUV.
The A-BAT in real life is much smaller than its dramatic exterior suggests, much like what they achieved with the FJ Cruiser. It is a vehicle aimed for the Urban Jungle, so it had to be neat and nimble with a tough exterior.
The Venza is a cross over between a small SUV and an old-fashioned station wagon. Toyota believes there is a big market for this.
